ONE SUMMERS DAY pre production promo

It was a long time coming but at last, sunshine and a clean swell! Missed the moon setting but up early enough for the sunrise. Spent the time working through ideas for the ONEDAY schedule. The rough cut is from that morning, with an evening section from a previous day (it clouded over by lunch) Thanks to Sandra, Steve, Graham, Mark’s son and Chris and the other lads out. The music is the beginning of dawn section of the ONEDAY soundtrack.

The ‘practice’ is looking good Richard and sure the eventual outcome will be spot on as usual. Still waiting for you to finish the Not California DVD mind, so only about 6 years late :O) Speak soon about other things. Aloha, David

This is fantastic filming Mr G – I expect to see the finished article winning some film festivals, a first for a British ‘surf’ movie. Great job Rich. May the swell be with you.

Stunning piece of footage. Music is perfect too.

Sometimes cinema makes you think, sometimes it makes you cry, sometimes it makes you want to get out and go for it.

    Rarely all three.

If this is a practice day; can’t wait for the whole thing.
